Baby fights for her life after attack

2010-04-23 09:06

Sapa and Beeld

Johannesburg – A year-old baby brutally assaulted during an apparent robbery in Randburg was still in a serious condition in hospital, an official said on Friday.

Sandton Medi-Clinic spokesperson Liezel Furlong said the baby girl’s condition was serious but would not give any further details.

“At this stage nothing has changed and the child is still in a serious condition,” she told Sapa.

Brutal attack

Police remain tight-lipped about their investigation into the attack at a house in Robin Hills, Randburg north of Johannesburg on Thursday, during which the baby and her caregiver were brutally attacked.

Colonel Eugene Opperman said he had spoken to the baby’s mother and the caregiver, but would not share any more information with the media.

“The investigation will go on. We have nothing more to tell you than what we have already given out,” he said.

Paramedics said the woman and baby were taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

“They were both transported to hospital in a critical condition,” ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said.

The child minder was taken to Helen Joseph hospital with gashes to the forehead and behind her ear.

Skull fractures

Beeld reported that the baby’s mother, Madelein Kruger, arrived home from work at 13:00 to find the baby unconscious and the caregiver beaten and tied up.

The baby was assaulted so badly that she sustained multiple skull fractures and stopped breathing.

Opperman told Beeld it was not known how many attackers had been at the house or how they had gained access.

He was also unable to say with what they had assaulted the victims.

Olga Rossouw, who lived across from the Kruger family, told Beeld that the baby’s mother ran into her house shortly after 13:00 carrying the baby, who was limp and covered in blood.

“Ollie, Ollie, what should I do?!” she screamed at Rossouw.

The child was not breathing and had a huge wound above her right eye.

Rossouw pressed the emergency button linked to Piranha Security, a local security company.

A few minutes later their emergency workers arrived on the scene and immediately resuscitated the baby.

‘Cowards’

Managing director of Piranha Security, Allan Stott, said after the baby started breathing again, they put her in an emergency vehicle and rushed her to hospital.

“On the way, she twice stopped breathing and they had to resuscitate her again,” told Rossouw.

“Who would do something like that to a small, vulnerable baby?”

Opperman denounced the attackers as “cowards”.

“Only cowards attack women and one-year-old babies. That is why we will turn over everything that has to be turned over to find these cowards,” said Opperman.

Beeld learned that the baby’s mother was too badly shocked to speak to police. She was later also taken to hospital.

It is believed that only a laptop and modem were missing from the house.

Car washers save the day

I was taking my girlfriend to work when my throttle cable broke.

Slowly I was striding at 15km/h when I saw these guys working as car washer behind the public library. I stop and asked if they didn’t have rope so that I can drive home at a faster speed else it would have taken an hour and I may have been shot by road raged drivers not wanting to trail me.

They went to fetch some rope for me but unfortunately they had thrown it away on the previous day.

So he grabbed his shoes and gave me his shoelace he also helped me tie it to the throttle cable thus allowing me to throttle by hand to go fix at home.

Later that day I was still struggling to repair the cable I eventually managed and decided I will give those guus something.

I opened my closet and emptied all my shoes and old clothing. More than half my clothes, the half I rarely wear anymore I gave to them. Seriously was one of the best days I have had on my own in a while.

Just to see these guys grateful was a joy to me. If you do have any old clothing give It to them they need it more than you do.

You would located them  near the front entrance of the Library  at the entrance of the Sanlam centre’s parking area (Pick n Pay) Kimberley

Biased carnival celebrates FIFA2010 in Kimberley

The government has arranged a great carnival of celebration to be held at the Galeshewe stadium.

The list of activities is really interesting as they will have Chomee and local artists entertaining the crowd.

Government has even arranged pickup points for buses to pick up carnival goers. Strangely all of the pickup points are located in areas least populated by white citizens. Even the location far out of Kimberley such as Riverton is mostly populated by black people.

Indirectly, this clearly shows that the rest of the town and surrounding white populated areas are not welcome.

Not even the most poorest of white and black people living in Beaconsfield and Greenside have transport to this event.

They did not think to include one of the central location as you can clearly see on this map indicated in green all pickup points are located on the outskirts of Kimberley.

Kimberley Carnival Pickup Points

Why? Well maybe the government figured white people don’t like soccer and they sure won’t party with “us” (African people).

This is outrages. How biased does this government need to be for the rest of the population white and black to stand up for what is right and fair.

One thorne to end a nation – a poem of vision

Lady of peace, please stand back while the soldier of hate is defeated by soldiers of heart.

Rest in utter silence while this new democrazy kills us with revenge. Stand up when they are attacking your own, your land, your freedom and do not fall without seeing the end.

The end of this damnation the end of it all.

Do not sleep lightly until that day do not seek conservation when thy end is done!

** Democrazy, yes yes yes it’s a non existent word to describe the crazy democracy in South Africa

Gang attack family on farm, dad killed

2010-04-17 14:08

Dalmada – A man was beaten to death while his wife was gang raped and their four-year-old daughter seriously assaulted in the early hours of Saturday morning, Limpopo police said.

“It is believed a gang of 15 men entered the family’s house on a plot at Dalmada, outside Polokwane at 03:30,” said Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

The gang tied up the 40-year-old man and beat him to death.

Five men raped the man’s wife before turning on the couple’s four-year-old daughter and seriously assaulting her.

Ngoepe said the motive for the attack was unknown and nothing was taken from the house.

The wife and her daughter were take to a nearby hospital after residents alerted police about the incident.

Ngoepe described the woman as being “too traumatised” to give a statement to the police.

SAWU and the unruly protestors

Today marked the 4th day of the SAWU strike. Municipal workers took to the street trashing and slashing refuges bags, destroying public dustbins in the CBD areas of many cities to fight for salary increase.

Pretty stupid the acts of some of the unruly strikers. Littering and destroying municipal property left in such a disgusting state that our government has to contract 3rd parties to clean up the next day.

One thing that I still do not fully understand is that when there is a strike thousands are eager to “toy-toy” causing havoc as they go about through the CBD and surrounding suburbs but when there is work to be done you can count them by hand.

SAWU Municipal Strike

SAWU Municipal Strike

AND this so close to World Cup 2010, with each strike it becomes evident that our national flower is the plastic bag.

The union, SAWU, claims that it could not control their members but It has been ruled that SAWU will be financially responsibly for the replacement of damaged municipal property.

Still what is our government doing? Supporting this type of behaviour? What is the Department of Labour doing to avoid or change the procedures of strikes? … Well in my opinion they are not doing much.

The ANC has been in control for 15 years and not a lot has changed. More people have less money. White and black, indian and coloured.

I wish the ANC was all they promised in 1994 today but they proved not to be.

Step up government take action against unruly strikes. Do not sit at home enjoying your luxury lifestyle while fellow South African have to destroy our beautiful nature our mother Africa to enjoy the fruits our land provides.

Stop the complaining give us advice
Enforce new laws for the control of strikes held in public. Limit the number of participants to an controllable size, Arrest and charge unruly protestors, Unions should be fined for unruly marches, Any act of violence and destruction in any form should be made illegal, Department of Labour should invest more in our labour laws to seek solutions for labour problems before they happen which would render Unions almost useless.

Free husky puppies for adoption

What a load of bullshit!

Wake up people nobody would give away any pups let alone Siberian husky puppies for free.

http://www.hickerphoto.com

If you have contacted people advertising in the classifieds that they have any dog for adoption please double check that it is legit. There are a lot of fake classifieds on the internet luring you to take these puppies of the hands of the sellers.

Suggestion: Try to locate accredited dog breeder in your area which you can physically go to and choose a pup.

What to lookout for

· They are very friendly and speak regularly about “your family” “our family”

· They claim that weather conditions are forcing them to put the pups up for adoption

· They claim to have lots of accessories that will accompany the pups such as 3months food, scarfs, sweaters and chewing toys… etc

· They will “ship” “courier” the pups to your door for free

VERY IMPORTANT: Also check for locations they mention they place their spam classifieds on so many websites that they are not able to keep track of their location. For example the ad I replied to said they are located in Limpopo, South Africa but the seller said they just moved to MONTREAL, Canada.

Is there a silent Genocide in South Africa?

Original post on FromTheOld.com

Since the ANC took control more than 3071 farmers and people in rural communities have been murdered. They are mostly white rural farm owners or their families. Now that might not sound like a lot and I am sure there is way more than that number but the truth or the fact that must be pointed out is that there is a silent genocide in South Africa that the world does not want to acknowledge or even worse, that they dont know about.
The tide has turned for the worse and usually where we would see a few cases of murders, tortures and brutal killings of especially Afrikaans white people living in South Africa the numbers have now gone up drastically. Even leaders of not only political parties but of the government itself is guilty of covering up this genocide that would even make those that mention the thought of genocide labeled as racist.
Just yesterday a white woman was raped by three black police members but as media ethnics have it colour may not be mentioned. Full hype was given for the Jansen case but what about the recent murder of Bianca Warburton by armed black men in a neighbourhood she was helping? For a few years now people have been blogging about the culture genocide and then the political genocide started but now there is proof that there is a full blown genocide happening in South Africa.
First of all, labeling this article as racist is exactly where the problem starts because as we would have it you are not allowed to speak up or mention such things during a genocide but lets not go there straight away. This is news so lets report the facts first.
So, what is genocide? Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.
There is a guy called Gregory H. Stanton and he laid out 8 steps to a genocide that will help us determine if in fact there is a silent genocide of white Afrikaans and especially white Afrikaans farmers and their culture, traditions and even language

So, what is genocide? Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.
There is a guy called Gregory H. Stanton and he laid out 8 steps to a genocide that will help us determine if in fact there is a silent genocide of white Afrikaans and especially white Afrikaans farmers and their culture, traditions and even language.

1. CLASSIFICATION: This is this first point of a genocide where certain people gets classified as “them”. We’ve heard this a lot in recent years and now especially with people like Julius Malema that blames the “Children of colonialists” and “White racists”. White people have BEE and AA counting against them and today in South Africa you are employed by the colour of your skin.

” All whites are racists”- Dept. Minister Fikile Mbalula

2. SYMBOLIZATION: Whites are often called “colonialists”, “racists” among other things. White people in South Africa usually automatically named as privilaged. Mbeki’s famous words where he said all white people are rich and only that black people can be poor still rings in the ears of many of the 800 000 poor South Africans that live in shacks, they are not qualified for housing because they are white.

“We are going to kill you whites like flies when Mandela dies” – Judge John Motata

3. DEHUMANIZATION: During the 2009 general elections many parties were called “cockroaches” and “snakes”. How many times have we heard in the past year that and also with the Jansen case that “racists must be killed” and Julius Malema saying he has beaten the “colonialists and he will beat their children’s children”. The point of dehumanization is to make the human beings worth less, like animals where their life becomes worth less than the rest of society.

” You must not steal from blacks- rather steal from whites”- Willy Madisha

4. ORGANIZATION: The planned genocide of white people in South Africa has been proven and can be proved again. There is a clear organization of hatred against the white people of South Africa. A few farm murderers was caught and they turned out to be MK vets, this was a few weeks ago. It is also claimed that the farm attacks and some of the attacks in Pretoria are planned well thought out attacks where mostly only a cellphone is stolen and the people brutally murdered.

People were shocked when the Kennedy road mentioned the ANC militia, they did not know that such a thing exists in South Africa but it does and when the Zuma was in court the ANC claimed to have groups in “ditches” waiting for the word and all hell would break lose if Zuma was found guilty. This is documented as well, many newspapers also reported this fact.

“Whites will be threatened with a revolution by black people if the racial quotas are not met”- Jimmy Manji
” I will warn them (whites)- that this will be a revolution by all black people- if you want to unite the people- this is the way to go”- Dept. Minister of Labor Membhathisi Mdladlana
” Unfortunately there are some people you have to drag to heaven because they are heading for danger”- Jimmy Manji on white farmers that refuse to give-up their farms for land grabs

5. POLARIZATION: Extremists drive the groups apart, Hate speech gets broadcasted and propoganda like the fake DA pamphlet that is claimed to be designed by the ANC during the elections or even worse, when Caster Semenya came back Malema blamed white people for not being there.

Extremists drive the groups apart. Hate groups broadcast polarizing propaganda. Laws may forbid intermarriage or social interaction. Extremist terrorism targets moderates, intimidating and silencing the center. Moderates from the perpetrators’ own group are most able to stop genocide, so are the first to be arrested and killed. Prevention may mean security protection for moderate leaders or assistance to human rights groups. Assets of extremists may be seized, and visas for international travel denied to them. Coups d’état by extremists should be opposed by international sanctions.”

“Whites must watch-out- we will take action and make the country un-governable if they do not get in line quickly”- Gwede Mantasha

6. PREPARATION: Because of the colour of their skin white people in South Africa are clearly marked. There have been many reports from what will happen after the 2010 soccer world cup but that can be assigned as conspiracy so lets quote a part from a ANC manifesto ” The time has come to take the war to the White areas”

We also wrote about the Machetes being sold in Pretoria, a place where there is almost no sugar fields but they sell up to 9000 machetes a month. Then there is evidence of what some may consider a conspiracy theory, many know this as Uhuru or Operation Uhuru the page on wikipedia about this has been deleted but scattered remains are all over the internet and can be found.

” The time has come to take the war to the White areas”- ANC Manifesto

7. EXTERMINATION: In the past year there has been the biggest migration to the Western Cape of white people because they believe it is safer here. More than 3 million people have now fled South Africa and the slow silent genocide is going on. Maybe not a fast Rwanda style genocide but if we look at the facts we can only see whats coming.

” Bring me my Machine Gun ( Umshini Whami)- Jacob Zuma at his rallies

” Kill them- Kill the Amaburu”- Famous song by the ANC and Mandela” Kill the Boer- Kill the Farmer” – Famous slogan by Peter Mokaba
” Let me tell you my friend- I have triumphed over your apartheid regime,- and I will triumph over you again- once and for all”- Julius Malema
” I have beaten the Colonials – and I am going to beat the children of the children of the Colonials”- Julius Malema

8. DENIAL The government blames it on crime

ANC & ESKOM by Wayne Reddek

I found this post on Facbook which is truly amazing. What is happening to South Africa!

This is what Wayne had to say: An ignoble and corrupt parasite Next Thursday 8 April the World Bank will decide whether to grant Eskom a $3.75 billion loan to finance Hitachi Africa’s building of a coal-fired power station in Medupi, Limpopo. Many people don’t realise that this decision has serious implications for the health of our democracy. Why do I say this? Hitachi Africa is 25% owned by the ANC’s investment arm, Chancellor House. This means that the ANC has a R5.8 billion stake in the deal, from which it will make an estimated R1-billion clear profit – enough to fund its election campaigns and the lifestyles of its leaders for years to come. It is no exaggeration to say that, if the loan is granted and the deal goes through, no opposition party may ever be in a position to compete fairly with the ANC again. The ANC will entrench its single party dominance and, in doing so, gravely weaken our democracy. How did this happen? How can a political party in control of the state have a stake in a multibillion rand state tender? In this case, it was achieved through the dual role of a key player on the tender committee – the former Chairman of the Eskom Board, Valli Moosa, also a member of the ANC’s National Executive Committee. Moosa did not declare this conflict of interest, and he didn’t recuse himself from the tendering process. This was enough to warrant an investigation by the Public Protector, following a formal complaint submitted by the DA when the story first broke in February 2008. The Public Protector found that there was a clear conflict of interest, and that Valli Moosa had acted improperly. However, the Public Protector concluded that the awarding of the contract was not affected by Moosa’s conduct. Furthermore, he ruled that the awarding of the contract was not unlawful due to the absence of legislation regulating business between political parties and government institutions. This ruling is bizarre. If there is a conflict of interest that is not declared, the process should be declared null and void. There is no way that the Public Protector – or anyone else for that matter – can say that the decision was taken in the public interest rather than the ANC’s interest. Lawful or not, the awarding of the contract to an ANC front company is corruption on a grand scale. Whatever way you look at it, it is the abuse of public office for political gain. If this scourge of “legal corruption” is not stopped in its tracks, democracy in South Africa will wither and die. It is as simple as that. Former President Thabo Mbeki recognised this back in 2005. In a moment of candour, he said of the ANC’s corrupt tendencies: “What we do in this regard will define whether our organisation, the ANC, continues to maintain its noble character as a servant of all the people of South Africa, or degenerates into an ignoble, blood-sucking and corrupt parasite, an enemy of an immensely heroic people.” The ANC today, under Jacob Zuma, is taking South Africa close to the vampire state that Mbeki warned about. And, by acting in its own self interest instead of the public interest, the ANC has become an enemy of the people. Tenders are not awarded on the ability of the winning bidder to do the job, but on the basis of the company’s connections with the ANC. This is why Julius Malema is awarded R140 million contracts to build bridges that fall apart and it is why Hitachi Africa got the contract to build coal-fired power stations. We fully support the need for a World Bank loan to build the power stations so that we can prevent another electricity crisis. But the ANC’s corrupt involvement in this deal has forced South Africans into an invidious position. We are now being asked to choose between our need for sustained energy and the future of our democracy. In fact, according to the World Bank’s own protocols, they should not even consider this loan because it will directly benefit a political party. The protocol prohibiting this is designed precisely to prevent the kind of power abuse we are witnessing here. Suggestions are emerging that the World Bank will only agree to fund a portion of the deal from which the ANC will not benefit. But we will not be reassured unless and until the ANC is removed as a shareholder in Hitachi Africa, and a stakeholder in any part of the power station deals. As the arms deal scandal has shown us, these complex deals have many layers, involving primary contracts and subcontracts that can be used to disguise major corruption. The World Bank must have no part in a deal from which a political party stands to profit in any form. On Tuesday next week I am meeting the Head of the World Bank in South Africa, Ruth Kagia, to discuss the loan. I am going to make the case that South Africa needs this loan to build the coal-fired power stations. Indeed, the DA was calling for this type of infrastructure investment years before the advent of load-shedding. But, I will point out that in granting the loan, the World Bank would effectively be bankrolling the ANC, in contravention of every principle of democratic practice, and against the World Bank’s own protocols. I will propose that, should the World Bank be willing to grant this loan, it should do so only on the condition that the ANC and its front companies divest themselves entirely of any stake in Hitachi Africa, or any of the sub-contractors in this deal. I am going to present this case to every major World Bank member involved in making the decision before its meeting next Thursday. In this regard, I am also meeting with the US Ambassador and the British High Commissioner on Tuesday next week. We are going to fight this with all we have. The DA is currently consulting its lawyers to assess its legal options should the deal go through. We simply cannot allow the ANC to award multibillion rand tenders to itself. The ANC is well aware of how the apartheid government fostered corrupt relationships with big business to cement its electoral dominance. In 1997, when the ANC was almost bankrupt, outgoing ANC treasurer Makhenkesi Stofile set out the ANC’s new approach to fundraising at its national conference. He said: “There were a number of options (available to the ANC). One was the National Party option, which formed companies and gave them contracts which produced a steady basis of income. We didn’t think that would be a good thing to do. We then considered joint ventures and also thought that they would not be viable and would be the source of conflict. We opted for the role of facilitators for black business in the country. There are black businesses whom we have been able to turn to when we’re in trouble”. BEE legislation soon followed and with it the creation of instant millionaires, indebted to the ANC. It was this small group of politically connected businesspeople, who would fund the ANC. But it did not stop there. The ANC soon followed the National Party’s example. Why simply rely on the donations of those who benefited from state contracts, when the ANC could get those contracts directly? And so Chancellor House was established – a front company for the ANC itself. The purpose of Chancellor House is to enable the ANC in government to channel contracts to the ANC in business in order to fund the ANC as a political party and enrich its leaders. This, exactly, is the pathway from cronyism, to corruption and the criminal state. The DA will do everything it can to stop this power abuse now and in the future. Political parties exist to serve the people, not to abuse state power to enrich themselves and their leaders. It is high time the ANC learned this. And it is time that more people began questioning the ANC’s ill-gotten fortune and moral bankruptcy. – Wayne Reddek
